Clean Skincare
Shaan’s clean skincare is exactly that, everything you need with no harmful or unnecessary ingredients. Our basic range of facial skincare is unscented, even though part of the appeal of using skincare products is that it provides a sensory experience, which includes an appealing scent. This is because many modern fragrance products are synthesised and can contain ingredients with adverse effects. Some Shaan products contain naturally derived essential oils due to their therapeutic and sensory properties. As we like to be minimal, we use them sparingly.

The efficacy of Shaan’s products is due to the wholesome ingredients used. One of the key philosophies is the use of nature and its bounty as the natural world has an astonishing array of plants which possess restorative, regenerating and healing powers. We see it as our task to extract and capture the benefits of those plants in our products.
To capture the essence of the plants, we believe in minimally processed ingredients - organically grown, where possible. Minimising processing optimises functionality and also reduces impact on the environment. The same care and approach is used for packaging.

Shaan has a system of three products that work in harmony to help cleanse, heal and moisturise your skin.
1 - Cleansing bar
This is a creamy, moisturising soap bar that is specially formulated to cleanse your skin.It will lift and remove makeup and cleanse your skin thoroughly.
2 - Balancing balm
This liquid balm comes in a spray bottle and is very calming and healing for the skin as it contains some skin friendly ingredients. Used regularly, it will heal red, inflamed skin and reduce breakouts. It also helps with relieving mildly itchy skin.
3 - Nourishing serum
The nourishing serum is an oil based moisturiser that sinks rapidly into the skin, providing a protective layer. Used in combination with the balancing balm, it works over time to restore the skin to a healthy state.
The beauty of the Shaan system is that it can be adapted to suit differing skin conditions based on hormonal or seasonal changes. More serum can be used in winter and dry conditions and less in warm, humid conditions. In the peak of summer, the balancing balm can be used regularly to cool down and calm the skin. More frequent use of the cleansing bar is also helpful in very warm, humid conditions.
